BECOME A PARTNER

WE CAN DO MORE TOGETHER, THAN WE CAN ALONE!

One of our core aims is to see communities across the nation resourced with quality people to build where they live. It’s exciting to have churches partnered with us, both locally and internationally from the Czech Republic, and have their students equipped to practically serve in their own context.

Leadership College has never been about building an empire but about empowering leaders for life, wherever they are situated. After all, we can achieve far more together than we could ever do alone.

If you lead a church or Christian organisation, why not send students to study on Leadership College and then apply what they learn in your context? This tested and proven experience is designed to optimise the practical application of a students’ learning. Your students will not only gain maturity and grounding in theology, but you will have them on a Wednesday and Sunday each week.

THE REALITY IS.

There are limitations on every church or organisation; Leadership College makes the development of leaders accessible and achievable. One main reason for churches to shy away from working together is the fear that students will migrate or leave. We have seen and continue to see students study with us and go back to their home churches to serve their community vision. We take pride in this and we will continue to release leaders into the spheres they feel called to.

HOW THE PARTNERSHIP WORKS.

There are plenty of reasons to join forces but how will it actually work? Here are the four benefits of partnering together:

1. Financial Discount

By becoming a Partner, every student you send will receive a significant discount to the tuition fee. If more than one student applies from your context, special consideration is made.

2. Regular Resources

You will receive a digital pack of resources each term to use in your context. This includes leadership training guides, book reviews, a message from one of the Leadership Team at TCC, a short report on your student(s) progress as well as an overview of the upcoming curriculum so that you are in the loop of what your student(s) are learning.

3. The Full Curriculum

Don’t forget your students will experience the full Leadership College and Building Church Academy curriculum. Not only do they gain academic knowledge, but they also have wider networking opportunities with churches and leaders across the continent.

4. Two Full Days

If your organisation is local enough to travel to us, your student(s) will serve two days a week as part of their Practical Day and Ministry Day, providing both midweek and Sunday investment.

OVERSEAS STUDENTS

LOOKING FOR ADVENTURE?

We continue to welcome international students to study with us for a year of immersing themselves in the local British culture. Our innovative approach to leadership development is not exclusive to the UK, people from all walks of life and nationalities can access and apply for it. In fact, this is one of our core purposes for launching Leadership College.

We want to resource Europe and every continent with individuals who desire to influence and transform their contexts upon their return. We desire to see every sphere of life in every community moved by the power of leaders who have capacity, competency and maturity in their faith.

Overseas students will be immersed in the UK culture as part of a thriving church community in the heart of the country. They will also forge powerful friendships, grow under great biblical teaching and experience a side to life they never thought possible, not forgetting the additional travel to other nations.

DON’T WORRY, WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK.

Our team work hard to communicate well with those applying from other nations as well as help them plan their visit and stay here. This relational and accessible approach has had excellent feedback from past international students as well as making their travel here much easier.

WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND?

HOW WILL I FIND FRIENDS OR OTHERS TO CONNECT WITH?

We look after our students, don’t worry! We will connect you with relevant Community Groups and Fresher’s Week means that you get to know your fellow students before the year begins!

HOW DO I FIND ACCOMMODATION?

Students find their own accommodation on Leadership College and many websites in the UK that help match lodgers and renters together. If you are looking for a place to stay, let us know on your application as there may be people within our community who may offer lodgings.

WHAT IS THE COST OF LIVING?

Excluding any tuition fee payments, we’d recommend that students have around £500-£600 per month for living expenses. To give you a better idea, here’s a breakdown. Average monthly costs to live in a shared house are between £400-£450 per month (which usually means rent, utilities, internet, etc). You will typically need an additional £100-£150 per month for food and socialising.  These costs will vary depending the type of accommodation the student chooses to live in and the standard they wish to live at. For example, renting a room or lodging may be less hassle to organise and cheaper each month.

HOW EASY IS IT TO FIND WORK?

Wigan is a large town of over 300,000 with many different sectors including retail, catering and industry. As you would expect, the current economic climate means finding a job can be a challenge, so we are happy to pass on a students’ details to Edge Conferencing who may offer paid hours from time to time. This is not a guarantee of work and, is of course, subject to a students’ suitability.
